Many arrive at this question after reading ayatollah like the one below:

You who believe, do not enlist kafirs as wali, instead of mumineen

– 4:144

To properly understand this ayah we need to translate three key words:

Kafir – Most mistakenly translate this word as a non-Muslim, but it is actually an individual that has looked into the teachings of Islam and rejected them (the equivalent of an apikorus in Judaism).

Wali – Allah describes himself as the wali of all believers, so this cannot be a simple friend, rather it should be understood as a protector with whom you are personally close.

Mumineen – Those who believe in the teachings of Muhammad (PBUH) and submit to Allah.

With these translations we can read the original ayah correctly:

You who believe, do not enlist those who have rejected Islam as your protectors, instead of believers

– 4:144

There are others verses in Quran that can be misinterpreted, but in each instance a closer inspection reveals, just like above, the word is not friend but protector or patron.

Instead of isolating ourselves from the rest of the world, we should follow in the footsteps of our great Prophet (PBUH) who befriended many non-Muslims and used each encounter as an opportunity for dawa (encouraging non-believers to submit to Allah).

Can you posit additional thhotugs concerning the salvation of not only Tzadiks, but the rest of us as Jews, who may not believe in Yeshua, or who may have proclaimed such faith without even knowing such was not done with the heart. Perhaps this is a matter of presumption as you note above. In your opinion is belief in Yeshua necessary and sufficient for salvation? Belief in the Gospel is necessary for salvation. After the fact of the resurrection, I think that believing he roseis necessary according to 1 Cor. 15:1-4.I would base this on the prophet passage in Deut. 18 whereby God is allowed give additonal revelation.I believe the basic method of salvation was the same beforehand, justwith less details avaiable on exactly how God was going to accomplish it. Trust/or or commitment to God was stillrequired, and the good news was that God had promised delieverance for his people Israel. This deliverance was avaiable to everyone who repented and trusted in God even not knowing all the details.I believe that there where some Jews and Gentiles who did understandtrust in God and the good news in this sense, so when they are preached to, the book of Acts characterizes it like this:KJV Acts 13:43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of theJews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.The idea here is that they needed to heed the additional knowledge about Yeshua, but they were not doing so from a position of being unsaved. They were just obeying the prophet passagage in Deut. 18.So of course the good news when Yeshua preached was about God’sdeliverance that was promised, but the details of his personal fulfillment were still clouded some in the nature of prophecy.Only when the prophecy was fulfilled did God require it of Israel.Marc

Let me answer your question, first Allah loves the just. every people should be friendly and keep those solidarity, together we build our dream to be a successful things in the future. but Allah hate people who do not trust, believe and worship him. as for what i learn and i would say honestly, how many prophet did Allah gave to Jews in the past?, there are 23 prophet from Enoch (Prophet Idris) to Jesus (Prophet Isa) and they said to their’s people:”O.. my People, worship Allah (God) he’s only god and only One!”. but they (Jews) are deny and leaves the prophet Instruction, so Allah hate and choose the Arabian as successor, and he Create Muhammad as the leader and the last prophet for Arab nations, and finally Muhammad gain his People to be united not only the Arabs, he uniting Jews too by the Medina Constitutions as Allah said to him:”Do the just, forgive the enemy, and unite them, actually i’m merciful to who do the justice”.

It says that only some people not all Jews were turned into pigs and apes not all and after that no modern day person would or could be descended from a pig or ape according to monotheistic creationism and at the very least  definitely not the sons of Noah according to the Bible.

It only says not be friends with non believers or people that never received a book or prophet or were by choice atheists. Since prophets have been sent out every nation in their own tongue that would INCLUDE everybody however since the message is essentially the same and only the race and tongue of each messenger is different then we would EXCLUDE any religion or people that is contrary to core beliefs and essential commandments of the Abrahamic faiths of Judaism, original aramaic christianity, modern day Christians and catholics that are good people with oftentimes the biggest hearts; the ones that love and live the word daily and not just read it, Muslims but also Buddhists, most forms of Hinduism without idol worship that focus on monotheistic nature of the Creator, Confucianism, taoism, zoroastrian, sabians, Samaritans, indigenous people as well such the native americans.

Some clear exclusions would include any and all idol worship and although Hinduism as idols the still have a higher notion of the oneness of Brahman and the Idols are one of the ways the that lower castes can come to understand him according to hindus. I don’t condone it I’m just explaining it.

Excluded- Egyptian, Babylonian, Caananite, Greek Roman Mayan Aztec Inca etc. anything with idols, polytheism, no written law and/or human sacrifice that doesn’t mean we can’t learn about their culture and society just not emulate them so as to learn from their misgivings.

The majority of the people are not to be excluded based on their belief but rather their actions becuase what you say with you lips and what you do with your hands can greatly differ and ALLAH LIVES IN YOUR HEART; IF YOU ARE A SINCERE BELIEVER AND LOVE NOT OUT OF FEAR OR HOPE BUT BECAUSE IT IS YOUR TRUE NATURE AS A SPARK OF THE DIVINE
