Jews believe that G-d is a complete unity, and therefore we totally reject the trinity. The reason we don’t believe the Christian Jesus is a prophet is because the historical Jesus’s message was perverted by the modern church—which is now almost totally pagan (and has persecuted us for millennia). Jesus’s original followers, a sect of Jews called “Ebionites” (literally “poor ones”), read only the Hebrew Gospel of Matthew and rejected the idea that Jesus was divine. The man who introduced the “trinity” into Christianity was Paul of Tarsus—whose beliefs make up the foundation of the modern Church.
