Salaam Alaykum,

1. By the same logic a murderer wouldn’t be sinning, as Allah subhanah had already decreed that the victim to die at this time. So how can murder and suicide be considered sins? Islam teaches us that Allah Subhanah! has decreed that we’re destined to die on a certain date. Someone who takes their or another’s life is not changing the decree – as this would have occurred regardless – however, the cause of death is not definite and they end that life in a rebellious way.

2. Islam teaches that we have the freewill to do both good and evil. Shaytan may cast doubt in our hearts and evil in our minds, but it is our job to reject these temptations and cleave to our Creator.

JazakAllah
